Republican U.S. Senate candidate Bob Hugin has released a new TV ad, “Two Bobs,” that contrasts his private sector record with incumbent Bob Menendez’s 32 years in public office.

“Our new ad continues to inform voters on the tale of two Bobs from Union City and the stark contrast in their character,” said Megan Piwowar, Hugin’s communications director. “While Bob Menendez chose a life in politics to serve himself and his wealthy donors, Bob Hugin chose a life of service. New Jerseyans know they deserve better than a Senator who is trying to stay one step ahead of the law.

The race is expected to be one of the most competitive U.S. Senate races in the nation.  Real Clear Politics has shifted the Menendez vs. Hugin contest from ‘Likely Democrat’ to ‘Leans Democrat.
