Just 1% of Democratic primary voters said U.S. Sen. Cory Booker was their top pick to take on President Donald Trump, according to a Quinnipiac poll released Monday.
Booker tied for eighth with three other candidates in Monday’s poll, falling far behind frontrunners Joe Biden (20%), Elizabeth Warren (16%), Pete Buttigieg (15%) and Bernie Sanders (14%).
The result will bring down Booker’s Real Clear Politics polling average by a small amount. Currently, the race rater has Booker’s average at 2.3%.
There is a silver lining for Booker, however thin. 2% of voters told pollsters Booker was their second choice.
