New Jersey Senator Cory Booker is running fourth in a poll testing potential Democratic candidates in the 2020 New Hampshire presidential primary — a relatively good number considering the history of New Hampshire polls this far out.
The Suffolk University poll released today has Sen. Elizabeth Warren leading with 26%, followed by former Vice President Joe Biden (20%), Sen. Bernie Sanders (12.5%), and Booker with 8%.
The second tier includes: Sen. Kamala Harris (4%), Former Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick (4%), Sen. Kristin Gillibrand (2%) and former Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe (2%),
Without Warren in the race, Booker is in third with 10%, behind Biden (30%) and Sanders (25%).
The Suffolk poll gives Trump an upside-down 39%-51% approval rating among all New Hampshire voters. In Republican primary matchups, Trump beats Gov. John Kasich by 35 points.

New Hampshire’s primary contest, the first to take place in the nation, established Sanders as a viable 2016 presidential candidate when he beat Hillary Clinton with 60 percent of the vote to her 38 percent f6 .
