The New Jersey Republican State Committee is fundraising off of special counsel Robert Mueller’s report that dismissed the idea that President Donald Trump colluded with Russia to influence the presidential election in 2016.

“After spending more than 25 million taxpayer dollars investigating, the Mueller report determined there was no collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, but the Democrats in Congress are still not satisfied,” an e-mail soliciting contributions to the Republican State Committee said.

The New Jersey GOP pointed to a statement by House Financial Services Committee chair Maxine Waters (D-California) that s “this is not the end of anything.”

Waters “is committed to continuing the witch-hunt,” the Republicans said.

“While the Democrats are distracted by their blind rage, we are preparing for the 2020 elections – will you stand behind our Federal candidates and give $10, $25, or even $55 to help re-take the House and re-elect our President?,” the New Jersey Republicans said. “The Democrats are already spending money in New Jersey in preparation for 2020 – We need to fund our 2020 infrastructure now if we are going to re-elect our President and take back our Congressional seats! Please send your most generous donation and let’s send the Obstructionist Democrats packing!”
