Ads will run in Iowa, South Carolina

A pro-Cory Booker super PAC is spending $500,000 on a campaign to help the New Jersey senator qualify for the December Democratic presidential debate.

United We Win says it will air television ads and digital ads and phone programs in Iowa and South Carolina, as well as bus ads in Washington DC that uses images of Michael Bloomberg and Tom Steyer with the message, “We need more diversity, not more billionaires.”

“No Democrat can defeat Donald Trump and win the presidency without cultivating a diverse, multi-racial coalition of support, and a debate that doesn’t include a single non-white candidate would be a tremendous disservice to our party,” said Philip Swibinski, spokesman for United We Win. “Cory Booker’s voice must be heard in this debate, and our organization is committed to getting that message out to voters in the early states who hold the power to ensure that the candidate best positioned to recreate the Obama coalition is not shut out.”

The super PAC has not identified their sources of revenue, although it is believed to include New Jersey donors.

Bus ads paid for by United We Win, a super PAC supporting Cory Booker for president, will appear on public buses in Washington, DC.
