Yaede announces re-election bid

By Nikita Biryukov, March 13 2019 5:34 pm

Hamilton Mayor Kelly Yaede announced she would seek a third full term Tuesday.

“I’m running to protect Hamilton values with strong leadership that has been tested and proven time and time again.” Yaede said.

Hamilton Township Council President Jeff Martin, a Democrat, is seeking to oust Yaede.

In 2017, Democrats won a 3-2 majority on the township’s council. They’ll have full control of the town if they can oust Yaede.
