Linden school board member Ahmed Shehata has endorsed Sherylann Tambornino, Tanya Grissett, and Vanessa Persaud for seats on the Board of Education in the fall election.
“These three women will bring vision, expertise, and dedication to our public schools. I know that they want every child in our town to have the same support and success that they desire for their children and grandchildren, who are students in our district,” said Shehata. “Together, we will ensure that safety is our top priority and vow to work with our city and county counterparts to create the safest environment possible.”
Shehata praised Tambornino, Grissett and Persaud for ” gathering input from parents, teachers and other citizens about what they think is working and what isn’t in our schools.”
“As a sitting board member, I know the passion and dedication that must be exhibited to endure this position,” said Shehata. “Collectively, they have spent the past decade giving back to the community as parents, PTA members and board members.”
