Passaic County Democrats picked incumbent freeholders Terry Duffy and Pat Lepore and sheriff Richard Berdnik to run on their organization line in the June primary.
Duffy and Lepore faces a challenge from Derya Taskin, a former deputy mayor of Paterson.
Taskin has said she would abide by the choice of the screening committee, which met today.
Paterson police director Jerry Speziale is mulling a primary challenge to Berdnik. A former three-term sheriff, Speziale did not seek re-election in 2010 and was replaced by Berdnik.
Duffy and Lepore were first elected in 2004.
Republicans have not won seats on the Passaic County Board of Freeholders since 2009.
