Hanover incumbents win easily

GOP stronghold rejects ex-committeeman’s comeback bid

Republican Township Committeeman Brian Cahill and Michael Mihalko have won the Republican nomination for two township committee seats in Hanover Township fending off a challenge from former Committeeman Robert Brueno.

Cahill leads with 916 votes, followed by Mihalko with 867 votes, followed by Brueno with 322 votes. 

No Democrats filed to run for Township Committee in Hanover. 

Hanover is a strongly Republican town; Donald Trump carried it by over 15 points in 2024.
