Acting Morris County GOP chair Laura Marie Ali has been endorsed by Denville mayor Tom Andes and the entire seven-member council.
Andes cited Ali’s help during a hotly-contested local election last year, when a Republican sought the mayoral post as an independent in a three-way race.
“Laura was there for us every bit of the way. Her help with social media was priceless. She came through with large signs, walkers and finances,” Andes said. “With her help we swept and kept Denville all Republican. Laura has brought a new energy into our MCRC but best of all she wants to bring all our Republican leaders together to bring out the best in our party for our towns, county, state and country.”
Council president John Murphy joined Andes, along with councilmen Doug Gabel, Glenn Buie, Gary Boroweic, Chris Golinski, and Harry Fahrer, and Councilwoman Angie Cote
“Laura was there for our team in this election and past elections,” said Murphy. “She is a great leader for our party and one that we should all unite behind.”
Ali has already received the endorsement of Assemblyman Brian Bergen (R-Denville).
