Bhalla delivers 60 votes to Stack

Hudson warette gives Stack 80% of county committee votes in Hoboken

By David Wildstein, March 19 2018 9:13 pm

Sixty of the 76 members of the Hoboken Democratic County Committee have pledged to support  Union City Brian Stack for Hudson County Democratic Chairman.

The commitments were made at an event tonight hosted by Hoboken Mayor Ravi Bhalla aimed at assembling support for Stack, who represents Hoboken in the New Jersey Senate.

“Noone works harder for the constituents of Hudson County than Brian Stack,” Bhalla said.  “Senator Stack will make a great chairman for the HCDO and I support him just as he has supported me in first few months as Mayor of Hoboken.”

Stack is seeking to succeed former Assembly Speaker Vincent Prieto, who is not seeking re-election in June.
