Kivvit was named “Public Affairs Firm of the Year” by the Reed Awards, one of five honors taken home by the firm at the awards presentation this week.
The Reed Awards are named after Campaigns & Elections founder Stanley Foster Reed. Along with the Pollies, they are considered the most prestigious awards available for political consultants.
A national firm, Kivvit has strong ties to New Jersey, where managing partner Maggie Moran began her career as a Democratic operative. Moran was ranked #26 on the New Jersey Globe 2019 Power List.
Kivvit won for Best Use of Online Targeting for a Statewide Campaign for the Campaign to Pass Medical Aid and Dying in New Jersey, for Best Cross-Channel Ad Campaign for the Albany Medical Center, for Best Use of Data Analytics/Machine Learning for Higher Rep: Political Strategies to Enhance High Education Reputation, and for Best Use of Online Targeting for Always on NY.
“Kivvit is truly honored to be recognized as public affairs firm of the year and for its work on these important campaigns,” Moran said. “I want to thank everyone on the Kivvit team for their hard work and dedication and our clients for giving us the opportunity to make a difference. The chance and ability to make a real life impact is what drives our work. As always, we will not rest on our laurels. We will keep searching for and implementing innovative ways to serve our clients.”
In 2019, Kivvit won two Reed Awards: Best Public Affairs Campaign for Move CT Forward, a coalition of groups seeking public attention to Connecticut’s infrastructure crisis; and Best Use of Online Targeting for their campaign to organize JetBlue flight attendants to unionize with the Transport Workers Union of America (TWU). TWU won the vote with 66%.
