John Case joins Hawk Strategies

John Case, a former chief of staff to New Jersey Commissioner of Transportation Rick Hammer, has joined Hawk Strategies, the consulting firm founded this year by former assistant DOT commissioner Anthony Attanasio.

Case spent five years at the DOT, where he served as director of community relations, assistant commissioner, and chief of staff.

Prior to joining the Department of Transportation, Case served as regional director of Intergovernmental and Legislative Affairs for Gov. Chris Christie.  He also worked for Rep. Jim Gerlach (R-Pennsylvania) and worked on the presidential campaigns of Rudy Giuliani and John McCain.

In 2009, Case was the political director for New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s re-election campaign.
