The New Jersey Globe is projecting that State Sen. Brian Stack (D-Union City), Assemblywoman Annette Chaparro (D-Hoboken), and Assemblyman Raj Mukherji (D-Jersey City) have won re-election to the 33rd legislative district.
They defeated Agha Khan, Jacob Curtis, and Marcos Marte, respectively.
Stack, the mayor of Union City for 21 years and a legislator for 18, is a powerful retail politician and vote getter in Hudson County.
Also on the up-and-up is Mukherji, a Marine Corps veteran and former Jersey City Deputy Mayor who may one day be Assembly Speaker. Chaparro is the newest member of the delegation, serving since 2016.
Final 33rd district results:
Stack 85.1% // Khan 14.9%
Chaparro 40.9%, Mukherji 40.5% // Marte 9.4%, Curtis 9.2%
