Assemblywoman Annette Chaparro (D-Hoboken) will run for reelection, she told the New Jersey Globe Thursday.
“Absolutely,” she said when asked if she had decided to seek a third term in the Assembly. “I am with Sen. [Brian] Stack, and I am going to run.”
The district, which covers portions of deeply-blue Hudson County, is safely Democratic, and Chaparro and her running mate Assemblyman Raj Mukherji (D-Jersey City) will be able to easily win reelection, barring a primary challenge.
