Democrats Lisa Bhimani and Darcy Draeger have raised $43,139 for their bid to flip the two 25th district Assembly seats, according to reports filed with the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission.

Bhimani and Draeger have spent $4,440 and have $38,699 cash-on-hand.

Fundraising for the joint account includes $25,252 that was transferred from Bhimani’ s 2017 campaign fund.  She won 48% against State Sen. Anthony R. Bucco (R-Boonton).

The two Democrats are seeking to oust Assemblyman Anthony M. Bucco (R-Boonton), the son of the senator, and capture the open seat of Michael Patrick Carroll (R-Morris Township).  Carroll is leaving the Assembly after 24 years to run for Morris County Surrogate.

The report reflects total funds raised and spent this cycle, through December 31, 2018.
