State Sen. Joe Cryan hasn’t backed a presidential candidate since U.S. Sen. Cory Booker dropped his bid, and he won’t until Union Township makes its decision.

“No, we’re doing an open forum in the town of Union,” Cryan said when asked if he had a favorite for president.

Cryan has chaired Union’s Democratic Municipal Committee since 1996.
