Nephew of state senator, first woman on Vineland council, die

William A. Dolan II, a longtime member of the New Jersey State Bar Judicial and Prosecutorial Appointments Committee, passed away on February 10.  He was 87.  He practiced law with Dolan & Dolan in Newton, along with his uncle, Bill Dolan, the last Democratic state senator from Sussex County.

Marie Doyle, the first woman to win election to the Vineland City Council, died on February 13.  She was 94.  A retired teacher, she was elected to the council in 1980 and served on term.
