Ricard Salkin, a former assistant Bergen County prosecutor who tried the 1976 quadruple murder case of Harry De la Roche, died on June 19. He was 75. Salkin spent sixteen years as the Hackensack city attorney and 13 years as Hackensack’s school board attorney.
Gina Galante, a former assistant prosecutor in Hudson County and a former deputy attorney general, has died. She was 64.
Martin List, a former attorney for the Operating Engineers and Teamsters unions in New Jersey before moving to Ohio, died on June 14. He was 72.
Carl Blum, a former Boonton township committeeman and fire commissioner, died on June 15. He was 80.

Andrew Tyrone, a Parsippany fire commissioner for 47 years, died on June 20. He was 91. He was an IBEW member for 70 years, served in the U.S. Naval Reserve, and passed away on his 70th wedding anniversary.
William Tessing III, who spent 37 years as a Westmont fire commissioner, died on June 19. He was 75. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and member of the Carpenters Union.
Earl Rue, a former Springfield (Burlington County) school board member, died on June 21. He was 98. In 1991, Rue sold his 170-acre dairy farm to the county in order to preserve the land from development.
Brian Bamforth, a former member of the South Orange-Maplewood Board of Education, died on June 17. He was 94.
