Ernest Rosolen, a former Garfield councilman, died on February 17.  He was 82.  Rosolen served as a fire inspector for Garfield after his service on the council.

Pat Murray, a former Atlantic Highlands councilwoman, died on February 17.  She was 78.

Lee Richards, a former Riverdale councilman, died on February 12.  He was 81.

Mack Sprouse, a former Penns Grove councilman, died on February 15.  He was 86.

Jerry Petti, a fixture in Union Township Democratic politics for decades, died on February 14.  He was 86.  Petti, a U.S. Army veteran, served on the zoning board for 25 years and spent 30 years as a Democratic county committeeman.

James Kennedy, a former Assistant Monmouth County Prosecutor, died on February 5.  He was 62.

Jack Gaughran, a former corrections officer and Vineland municipal court clerk, died on February 14.  He was 91.  Gaughran served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Chick Harrison, who taught journalism at Rowan University, died on February 13.  He was 87.  Another Chick Harrison, who was a legendary reporter and editor for the Hudson Dispatch and the Star-Ledger, died in 2012.

Joseph Ryczkowski, a former supervisor of vocational programs for the New Jersey Department of Education, died on February 15.  He was 86.
