In Memoriam

David Corcoran, who spent 19 years at The (Bergen) Record before joining the New York Times in 1988, died on August 4.  He was 72.  Corcoran spent a decade as The Record’s Editorial Page editor.  He spent 16 years at the Times before retiring in 2014 as the Science Times section editor.

Sandra Beck-Holeman, the wife of Victory Gardens Mayor David Holeman, Jr., died on August 3 following complications from diabetes.  She was 59.

Margaret Craig, who served Wyckoff Board of Education president, died on August 3.  She was 85.

Thomas V. Whelan, a former member of the St. Peter’s College Board of Trustees, died on August 2.  He was 75.
