Gov. Phil Murphy will headline the New Jersey Democratic State Committee annual conference on September 26-27 at Harrah’s Resort and Casino in Atlantic City that will seek to united part leaders with grassroots progressive activists.
“We intend to build upon last year’s successful NJDSC Conference and create momentum leading up to the November elections,” said John Currie, the Democratic State Chairman. “We look forward to bringing together and energizing Democrats under the leadership of Governor Murphy and the state’s Democratic leadership to begin our work necessary for victory in November.”
Registration is now open for the Thursday-Friday event. The state party says that additional guest speakers will be added in the coming weeks.
Demcorats will present a series of panels to offer training on campaign tactics and strategies.
I know that Democrats around the state are fired up to win campaigns for local and county offices this Fall, and our NJDSC Conference will be the perfect opportunity to bring the activists we need to knock doors and contact voters together with party leaders and candidates,” said Peg Schaffer, the state party vice chair. “I’m looking forward to another Blue Wave this year, and just like last year that will start at our annual NJDSC Conference. I look forward to seeing you there.”
Murphy’s keynote address will come at their “Faith in the Democratic Party” clergy breakfast on Friday morning.
