Calls Ford courageous

In a pair of tweets, Gov. Phil Murphy made it clear today where he stands on President Donald Trump’s nomination for Brett Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme Court.

“Dr. Ford has extraordinary courage.  The presumption that she is not telling the truth is unacceptable, and it should deeply anger us all.  The Supreme Court is a lifetime appointment, so we need to get it right,” Murphy wrote.  “I think Judge Kavanaugh should pack his bags and leave town, but barring that, no vote should take place until a full federal investigation into the claims against him has taken place.”
