Helmy Departure: Sam Thompson

State Sen. Samuel Thompson issued the following statement today on the departure of George Helmy as Gov. Phil Murphy’s chief of staff:

“I am sure he will be sorely missed. George did an outstanding job of assuring the Governor’s plans to improve the lives of our citizens were carried to fruition and that the ship of state sailed smoothly.  I wish George continued success in whatever endeavors he may undertake in the future.”
