Helmy Departure: Joe Lagana

State Sen. Joseph Lagana issued the following statement today on the departure of George Helmy as Gov. Phil Murphy’s chief of staff:

“I wish George Helmy good luck and great success in his new endeavors.  His time as Chief of Staff has been invaluable to me personally as a legislator.  I have always enjoyed working with George, he was always reliable and I could count on him to be fair and open minded. He is a strong leader and a dedicated public servant who truly put the needs of our residents first during his tenure.”
