Helmy Departure: UTCA

Utility and Transportation Contractors Association (UTCA) Executive Director Dave Rible issued the following statement today on the departure of George Helmy as Murphy’s Chief of Staff:

“George has had a remarkable, record-breaking run as chief of staff, shepherding the state through the pandemic while creating strong relationships with the Legislature. He understands the issues that impact New Jersey like few others can. I worked with George both as an Assemblyman and as Executive Director of UTCA and he’s always been willing to hear the issues and listen to all sides. We wish him luck in his future endeavors and look forward to working with Governor Murphy’s next chief of staff.”
