New Jersey State Policemen’s Benevolent Association President Pat Colligan issued the following statement today on the departure of George Helmy as Gov. Phil Murphy’s chief of staff:
“George has been a valued partner in the Governor’s Office. Even during the most difficult days of the pandemic we always knew he would not only answer our call but would also help us achieve positive outcomes for both the public and our members. !His even-keeled nature and attention to detail have been tremendous assets to Governor Murphy and the Administration and we wish him well in his next endeavors.”
