Helmy Departure: Charles Wowkanech

New Jersey State AFL-CIO President Charles Wowkanech issued the following statement today on the departure of George Helmy as Gov. Phil Murphy’s chief of staff:

“George has been a pleasure to work with, and organized labor is sad to see him depart the Governor’s office.  “Always fair and responsive, we have worked together on many issues over the years, and I thank him for his dedication to serving the state and Governor Murphy. We wish him the best of luck in the future.”
