Gov. Phil Murphy and First Lady Tammy Murphy have added a combined eleven campaign stops on Monday.
Just one of the governor’s appearances tomorrow is in a competitive district, although the 16th has moved clearly into the Likely Democratic column.
Murphy will start his day at 8 AM greeting commuters at the train station in Rutherford, followed by a GOTV in Lyndhurst that had traditionally been organized by former Bergen County Democratic Chairman Louis Stellato.
In the afternoon, the governor will attend four events in Mercer County, starting with a canvass launch in Princeton for Assemblymen Andrew Zwicker (D-South Brunswick) and Roy Freiman (D-Hillsborough). Murphy will also appear with Mercer County Executive Brian Hughes, and additional event with the incumbent legislators seeking re-election in the 15th district, Verlina Reynolds-Jackson (D-Trenton) and Anthony Verrelli (D-Hopewell).
Murphy will end the day at an early evening rally for Trenton Democrats at the Shiloh Baptist Church.
Tammy Murphy will visit the Harrison Senior Center at lunch time, followed by a campaign appearances in Bergen: she’ll be in Upper Saddle River in District 39 and Fair Lawn in District 38.
The FIrst Lady will also attend a Morris County Democratic event in Chatham.
