Cryan endorses Jones

Former Democratic state chairman takes sides in 2020 race

State Sen. Joseph Cryan (D-Union) has endorsed LeRoy Jones for Democratic State Chairman.

“I’ll be supporting LeRoy Jones,” Cryan told the New Jersey Globe.

Jones is mulling a challenge to incumbent John Currie in 2020.

Cryan served as Demcoratic State Chairman from 2006 to 2010.  He does not have a vote in the race for chairman.
