One of the nation’s top non-partisan analysts of congressional races ranks Rep. Andy Kim (D-Marlton) as the most vulnerable member of the New Jersey delegation and doesn’t think Rep. Mikie Sherrill (D-Montclair) will have any problems getting re-elected.
The University of Virginia’s Sabato Crystal Ball announced their first ratings of the 2020 House campaign this morning, placing Kim and nine other Democratic incumbents in the Toss-Up column.
Crystal Ball put Rep. Jeff Van Drew (D-Dennis) in the Leans Democratic column and Rep. Tom Malinowski (D-Rocky Hill) as Likely Democratic.
Sherrill does not appear on the Crystal Ball list at all, along with eight House members from New Jersey.
Kim defeated Rep. Tom MacArthur (R-Toms River) by 3,973 votes, 50%-49%.
