Hughes endorses Currie

By David Wildstein, December 21 2018 3:42 pm

Mercer County Executive Brian Hughes is backing John Currie for a re-election as the New Jersey Democratic State Chairman.

“Good government is good politics, and I see no reason to oppose Chairman Currie when he is working so closely with Governor Murphy and is supported for reelection by the Governor,” said Hughes, the top Democrat in Mercer County.  “Governor Murphy is delivering on promises like fixing NJ Transit, investing in public education and ensuring fair treatment of state employees after eight years of Chris Christie. I support that vision for a stronger and fairer state and I support Governor Murphy’s choice on who should lead our party.”
