Watson Coleman wins

Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman won win reelection and serve a third term in Congress.

She defeated Republican Daryl Kipnis, an attorney residing in Franklin Township by 36 points, 68% to 32%.

Watson Coleman got 145,274 votes to Kipnis’s 67,389.

Watson Coleman first run at the seat was in 2014, when former Rep. Rush Holt announced he would not seek reelection. Before joining Congress, Watson Coleman was a member of the state Assembly for 17 years.
