Democratic congressional candidate Tamara Harris has been endorsed by the National Association of Social Workers-Political Action for Candidate Election.
“We believe Tamara Harris best represents the values of the social work profession,” said Mary Jane Lundgren, Chair of NASW-PACE. “NASW-PACE is proud to endorse social worker Tamara Harris in her bid for New Jersey’s 11th Congressional District. She is pro-choice, supports LGBT equality and is passionate about addressing poverty.”
Harris faces Mikie Sherrill, Mark Washburne and Alison Heslin in the June 5 Democratic primary for the 11th district House seat of retiring twelve-term Republican Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen.
