Sires named to House Budget panel

Rep. Albio Sires (D-West New York) has won a seat on the House Budget Committee.

Sires serves as chairman of the Foreign Affairs Western Hemisphere subcommittee and serves on the Transportation & Infrastructure Committee.

“I am honored to join the House Budget Committee and look forward to working with my colleagues as we examine our nation’s fiscal policies,” said Rep. Sires.  “The Budget Committee provides much needed oversight and I am committed to ensuring that American tax dollars are spent on effective programs that make a difference in communities.”
