Another Democrat endorsed Republican U.S. Senate candidate Bob Hugin on Wednesday.

Democratic Ocean County Freeholder candidate Teddy Price backed Hugin on Wednesday, making for at least the second such Democratic Defection in as many weeks. Last week, Brick Councilman Jim Fozman endorsed Hugin then switched his party alignment the next day.

There’s been no indication that Price, who is also President of Tom’s River Democrats, has plans to do the same.

“This year’s election isn’t about Democrats or Republicans, it’s about the people of New Jersey,” Price said. “Unlike Senator Bob Menendez, who has disgraced the office and our state, Bob Hugin is a man of service, honor, and integrity who will put the people of New Jersey first. He has a proven track record of creating jobs and bringing people together from different backgrounds to find innovative solutions to complex problems.”
