PBA backs Lance

The New Jersey Police Benevolent Association endorsed Rep. Leonard Lance on Thursday.

“While Washington remains bitterly divided over partisan and political matters, your service stands out in your commitment to the men and women of law enforcement in New Jersey and around the Nation,” NJ PBA President Patrick Colligan said of Lance in a statement. “You have remained true to New Jersey’s law enforcement community during your service in Congress.”

The 33,000-member labor union’s endorsement could be a boost to Lance, who faces a serious challenge to his seat from former Assistant Secretary of State Tom Malinowski.
