Rep. Bill Pascrell (D-Paterson) has $1,761,768 cash-on-hand after raising $250,859 during the 3rd quarter for his re-election campaign in New Jersey’s 9th district.
Pascrell has contributed more than $78,000 to Democratic legislative, county and municipal campaigns in Passaic, Bergen and Hudson counties. That appears to be the largest amount of any member of the New Jersey delegation.
So far this cycle, Pascrell has raised $624,951.
The 12-term congressman faces two opponents in the Democratic primary.
Zina Spezakis, a clean technology investor and environmental activist, reported raising $92,930 for her 2020 congressional bid. She has $35,288 remaining in her campaign warchest. Attorney Alp Basaran has raised $64,831 and has $25,448 cash-on-hand.
Pascrell defeated 2018 primary opponent William O. Henry with 86% of the vote.
