The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) slapped five New Jersey Democratic House members in competitive races next year for endorsing U.S. Senator Cory Booker for president.

Reps. Jeff Van Drew (D-Dennis), Andy Kim (D-Marlton), Josh Gottheimer (D-Wyckoff), Tom Malinowski (D-Rocky Hill) and Mikie Sherrill (D-Montclair) announced their support of Booker this morning.

“By endorsing Cory Booker, New Jersey Democrats are going to own every single one of his socialist ideas. While Booker continues to embrace the radical left, his endorsers will have the unenviable task of defending his crazy policies in districts that are nothing like Newark,” said Michael McAdams, an NRCC spokesman.

  1. They are so afraid of Senator Cory Booker. You have to ask yourself, why? New Jersey polls show that our junior Senator is very popular here in the Garden State, despite the desperate attempts by the New Jersey GOP to smear him.
