The New Jersey State Association of Letter Carriers has endorsed Rep. Andy Kim (D-Marlton) for re-election to a second term in New Jersey’s 3rd district.

“In his limited time in Congress, Andy has demonstrated his commitment to preserving collective bargaining rights, fighting to maintain our health and retirement benefits, and his support in our efforts to repeal the mandate to pre-fund retiree health benefits,” said Nelson Gaskill, the union’s first vice president. “New Jersey letter carriers appreciate that Andy stands with us on issues of importance and we are proud to stand with him.”

Kim, a former Obama White House aide, ousted two-term Rep. Tom MacArthur (R-Toms River) by 3,93 votes, 50%-49%, in 2018,

The National Association of Letter Carriers PAC is already backing Kim and has contributed $2,500 to his re-election campaign.
