Keady adds Monmouth endorsements

By David Wildstein, March 02 2018 6:28 pm

Democratic congressional candidate Jim Keady has picked up three local endorsements in his bid for the Democratic nomination for Congress in the 4th district.  Monmouth County Democrats will hold a convention to award their organization line tomorrow.

Backing Keady are Allentown Councilman Robert Schmitt, Red Bank Human Relations Committee chairman David Pascale, and Brielle Board of Education president Eliot Colon.

“Jim has a rock-solid commitment to women’s health and reproductive justice, in staunch contrast to our current Congressman Chris Smith. And he will fight for a jobs plan that favors unions, the trades, law enforcement, firefighters and first-responders, and small business owners alike. As a fellow New Jersey native, I am excited to send someone to Congress who will work every day to protect our precious Jersey Shore and indeed our entire globe from climate change and push for a green economy that will create millions of good-paying jobs for Americans.

Keady also received the backing of all three Our Revolution groups in the district.
