Political newcomer Antony Ghee won the organization line for Congress in Passaic County tonight. He defeated Assemblyman Jay Webber (R-Morris Plains) by a vote of 18 to 5. Ghee and Webber are seeking the Republican nomination for the seat being vacated by Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen.
Ghee has the endorsements of Essex County Republican Chairman Al Barlas, Totowa Republican Municipal Chairman Peter Murphy, and Passaic County Republican Chairman John Traier.
