Former Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen has $423,744 remaining in his campaign warchest, according to reports filed with the Federal Election Commission.

Frelinghuysen contributed $1,000 to Assemblywoman Betty Lou DeCroce (R-Parsippany), $500 to Morris County freeholder Doug Cabana, and $500 to Denville mayor Thomas Andes.

He also donated $1,000 to Rep. George Holding (R-North Carolina), a former legislative counsel to U.S. Senator Jesse Helms now serving his second term in Congress.

After two years as chairman of the powerful House Appropriations Committee, Frelinghuysen dropped his bid for re-election to a thirteen term in Congress in January 2018.  Democrat Mikie Sherrill flipped the seat, held by Republicans for 34 years, to the Democratic column.
