Former Bergen County Freeholder John Felice has endorsed Michael Ghassali for the Republican nomination for Congress in New Jersey’s 5th district.
Ghassali, the mayor of Montvale, is one of seven Republicans vying for the chance to take on two-term Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-Wyckoff) next year.
Felice is a former River Edge councilman who was elected o the Bergen County Board of Freeholders in 2010. He did not seek re-election to a third term in 2016.
Felice’s father, Nicholas Felice, is a former Fair Lawn mayor who served in the State Assembly from 1982 to 2001.
