First Lady Tammy Murphy will headline a virtual fundraiser for the Biden Action Fund, a joint fundraising operation between Joe Biden’s presidential campaigns and the Democratic National Committee, on July 22.
Jill Biden is hosting the event, which includes Annie Lamont, the First Lady of Connecticut.
“Having known Joe Biden for more than a decade, I personally can attest to his much needed goodness and humanity in these challenging times,” Murphy told the New Jersey Globe. “Tammy Murphy. “Joe inherently understands the fallacy of aspiring to go back to the way things were, and instead will focus on building a more resilient economy that works for all families across our country.
Along with Gov. Phil Murphy, the titular head of the New Jersey Democratic Party, the first lady has emerged as one of New Jersey’s top political fundraisers.
The event is seeking contributions between $250 and $50,000. The maximum contribution for the Biden Action Fund is $360,000.
