Washington Borough’s four Republican council incumbents split into two separate slates for this primary season, with the slate led by county party-backed incumbents Jerry Brown and Sherri Musick coming out on top. Newcomers Robert Mitchell and Betti Singh, their running mates, rounded out the victors.
Brown leads with 193 votes, while his running mates Singh (175), Musick (167), and Mitchell (165) follow. Larry Main trails with 133 votes, followed by incumbent Edward France at 123, Dale Parichuk at 112, and incumbent Cassandra Gorshkov at 104.
Washington Borough is red-leaning: Donald Trump carried the borough by 10 points in 2024.
The Republicans face a challenge from Democrats Ethel Conroy, Jessica Lyons, Josephine Noone, and Sonia Rom.
