Ben Yaskulka, a senior at Ramapo College, has been elected New Jersey College Republican State Chairman.

The new college GOP board will include representatives of eight of New Jersey’s colleges and universities: Adam Hoffman of Princeton University (Co-Chair); Aden Hochrun of Stockton University (Treasurer); Celine Powell of Monmouth University (Treasurer); Dylan Celentano of Drew University (Northern Regional Vice Chair); Jacob Blumberg of The College of New Jersey  (Central Regional Vice Chair); Zach Wilson of Stockton (Southern Regional Vice Chair); Phil Pillari of Ramapo (Executive Director)l Mike Casey of Ramapo (Political Director);  Rob Russo of Stevens Institute of Technology (Membership Director); and Emily Certo of Seton Hall University (Communications Director).

“I’m honored to be entrusted with this position,” said Yaskulka, a political science major from Long Valley. “On many college campuses, conservative voices are rarely heard or advocated for. Young conservative voices are underrepresented at the polls. And people with differing views rarely have constructive dialog. I look forward to helping change all of that.

Yaskulka served as president of the Ramapo College Republicans and worked on campaigns for State Sen. Anthony M. Bucco (R-Boonton) and Assemblyman Brian Bergen (R-Denville).
