President Joe Biden will come to New Jersey for an appearance with Gov. Phil Murphy on Monday, the New Jersey Globe has learned.

Biden is scheduled to arrive in Newark on Monday and will join the governor for a non-campaign related event.

This is Biden’s second official visit to New Jersey.  He was in Central Jersey in September to meet with Murphy and local officials following flood damage caused by Superstorm Ida.

Former President Barack Obama is in Newark on Saturday to campaign for Murphy.  First Lady Jill Biden was at a Murphy campaign event in Edison last Friday.

Vice President Kamala Harris and First Gentleman Doug Emhoff have also made recent visits to New Jersey.
