MVC will be closed on Veterans Day, one of three midweek closures in November

The Motor Vehicles Commission will in fact be closed this Thursday for Veterans Day according to MVC Administrator Sue Fulton, eliminating one potential avenue for relieving the overburdened state agency.

The MVC was also closed last Tuesday for Election Day, and will be closed again in several weeks for Thanksgiving. But despite the long lines pervasive at many offices, Gov. Phil Murphy did not recall ever discuss keeping it open this Thursday

“I’ve not thought about the question of Veterans Day and motor vehicles,” he said today.
