Plainfield official says she won’t endorse

By David Wildstein, January 29 2018 9:16 am

Plainfield City Councilwoman Diane Toliver says rumors that she has endorsed a candidate for Union County Democratic chair are false.

“I have not endorsed anyone, and will support which ever candidate wins,” Toliver said, noting that she has not been asked for an endorsement and has no plans to make a choice between State Sen. Nicholas Scutari (D-Linden) and acting county chair Colleen Mahr.

Toliver represents Plainfield’s first ward.
